Field Dimensions:
Touchlines (Sidelines): The longer boundary lines on each side of the field are called touchlines. These mark the edge of play, and the ball is out of play if it fully crosses the touchline.
Goal Lines: The shorter boundary lines at the ends of the field are called goal lines or end lines. If the ball fully crosses the goal line, it's either a goal or a goal kick/corner kick, depending on who last touched the ball.
Center Circle: The circle is used during kickoffs, and only the player taking the kick is allowed inside the circle while all others must remain outside.
Penalty Area (18-Yard Box): This area marks where the goalkeeper can use their hands, and any fouls committed by the defending team inside this area result in a penalty kick.
Goal Area (6-Yard Box): This smaller box is where goal kicks are taken, and it also marks the area for goalkeeper possession and other specific restarts.
Goals: Positioned at the center of each goal line, the goal is the main target for the offensive team to score.
Penalty Spot: Penalty kicks are taken from this spot.
Penalty Arc: A small arc outside the penalty area, located around the penalty spot. It ensures that all players remain 10 yards away from the penalty spot during a penalty kick.
Corner Arcs: At each corner of the field, there's a quarter-circle arc with a 1-yard (1-meter) radius. Corner kicks are taken from inside this arc.
Halfway Line: The line that divides the field into two equal halves. Players must remain on their side of the field during kickoffs.
Technical Area: The designated area for team officials (coaches, substitutes). It's near the sideline and is often marked by a line. Coaches must remain within this area during the match.
